By Darell Carpenter

We know most of us don't have access to special x-ray machines or scanners at our disposal to create these types of images. You'll find that there's a way to combine the beautiful x-ray effect without having to use an x-ray machine, all in the comfort of your own home. By finding everyday appliances or electronics and taking them apart you'll find you can achieve the same effects.

We all know most people don't have access to special x-ray equipment that we can all get our hands on. There is information out there to make beautiful x-ray images without the special and expensive equipment. There's a way to take apart everyday ordinary electronics appliances from home.

This technique is easy and a simple way to create x-ray images with the adobe layering feature. Not only that there's also ways to have x-ray images just by simply using JPG. In addition this a safe and cost affective way to achieve x-ray photos.

Getting ready for this type of effect, you'll need an appliance or electronic for you photo layout upload . Pick up any electronic or appliance and take it apart, remember you'll probably never be able to use it again. This is essential to obtain the Photoshop x-ray effect.

After that task is finished, now you can prepare for the image layering feature of you adobe software. You'll want to prepare for your image layout dimension settings also. Now for your uploaded images you'll want to set the image resolution the same as your digital camera.

Next, you'll need to decide on what type of x-ray image you what your layout to look like. X-ray image that we see today are the stranded hospital x-ray or the more advanced airport scanner. Because of the color detail and resolution, the airport scanner look would be the better a better style.

In the next phase you'll need to decide how you want your x-ray photos to look. You can choose from stranded medical x-ray or the more advanced airport scanner. I personally like the scanner look because it's a little more colored detailed and gives a better x-ray image.

Now that your layouts are in place you'll find smart object and in the layer there will be a tiny icon. Click on the icon and there will be an option to change your settings. Next you will return to photoshop and your file format of your original layout should be the same.

OK, You've imported your file, afterwords you'll see smart object in the layer click on the icon. When you have clicked on the icon, you'll have an option of changing the setting. When you have returned to photoshop the original file format will stay the same.

In working with your raw file cut the image out from your background. In order to do so without destroying the image pixel you must create masks. To create a mask you'll need to group import your object and rename it.

Finally, for the images that you've cut out you'll have to make a skeleton for each a everyone of your layer. When you have done so the words (Group 1) will appear this is the procedure for your x-rays. Make every layer lighter as you put them together until you're done.
