Massive PPC Profits with Prosper202

The key to a successful PPC campaign is figuring out which of your keywords convert into sales, and which do not. So how do you track which keywords are the profitable ones? Enter Prosper202.

Prosper202 was developed by Wes Mahler of Tracking202, and is free tracking script that offers real-time tracking of your PPC campaigns. You can get the script from their website, and you will need to host it on your own web server. However, it is recommended that if you are planning on sending a large amount of clicks through the script that you make sure and install it on its own dedicated server.

Once you have installed the script on your server, you will want to add a campaign into the system. In the setup section you will see the list of steps necessary to track your campaign. The first thing to do is to enter in any of your PPC Accounts (Adwords, Yahoo, MSN) and then put in any CPA networks you have joined. (Convert2Media, AmpedMedia, etc).

The next step is to add in your Affiliate campaign. Here you will enter in the offer name, the affiliate url and payout. For the url, you will need to get this from the specific affiliate network's offer page. Be sure to include the subid parameter which is usually specific to the CPA network you are using.

The Simple Guide To Prosper202

Finding profitable keywords is the key to a money-making PPC campaign. To find these types of keywords, you will need to use some sort of PPC tracking script. In this article, we will discuss a script named Prosper202.

Prosper202 is a free, real-time PPC tracking software by the folks of Tracking202. It is self-hosted, which means that you will need to install it on your own server. If you are planning on sending a large volume of clicks through Prosper202, then I would make sure you install it on a VPS or your own dedicated server.

Once installed, you can start setting up your individual campaigns to track. This is done through the setup tab, and you can see all the steps involved in the submenu. The first two steps are to put in your PPC accounts (Adwords, Yahoo Search Marketing) and Affiliate Networks (FluxAds, NeverblueAds, etc) into the system.

Next, you will want to insert in the required information for the particular offer you are planning to send traffic to. The important step here is to enter the correct affiliate url. You can get this from the CPA network you are currently using. Just make sure to include the subid parameter in the url so Prosper202 can send along the subids correctly.

The campaign page also has the options to rotate urls and cloak your links. Rotating urls can be very useful as it allows you to test multiple offers and see which ones convert the best. Cloaking links is necessary because you never want to show your Affiliate Managers your traffic sources. When someone clicks on your cloaked link, the referrer will show up as the domain you have installed Prosper202 on and not your actual landing page.

For PPC campaigns, you can normally direct link to an offer, or send the visitor to a landing page. If you use a landing page, then you will need to enter it in as well. Once you have done that, you will get a piece of javascript to install onto your landing page. You will also have to change any links to your offer to the one the Prosper202 gives you as well.

Finally the last required step is to get your link. This is what you will input into your PPC account when setting up your campaign. Depending on the PPC platform you are using, you also may need to add an extra parameter to dynamically track the keyword associated with each click.

An optional step is to setup your global tracking pixel. You will need to give this to your Affiliate Manager to place on your offer's thank you page. Whenever someone clicks on one of your links and makes a lead or sale, your pixel will fire and Prosper202 will record it the conversion in your stats. If you do not do this, then you will have to manually import the converting subids from your affiliate network into Prosper202 yourself.

Once you have gotten everything setup, Prosper202 will handle the rest. You can see your clicks and leads in real-time using the Spy View, and you can see all the individual stats for each campaign in the overview page. The job of a website designer is one that is often two fold. A website designer is responsible for creating great designs as well as avoiding creating designs that are not attractive to the majority. Some of you may not be sure what I am talking about when I refer to irritating, so I have compile a list to explain further.

Pop Up Windows:

There are many marketers who praise the "pop ups" as a great marketing tool, but I have not found anyone yet that is not annoyed by pop up windows.

Loud Flash Presentations:

Flash headers can sometimes bring a website to life and catch a visitors attention. The problem I have with flash presentations are the loud ones that do not give you the option to turn the music off. The customer should always have the choice of whether they want to hear your music or not.

Light Colored Fonts With A Light Background:

Light colored text on a website with a similar light background is very confusing. It makes the words extremely difficult to read. If your customers can not read the content of your website, then what is the purpose of creating a website in the first place.

Fonts That Are Too Big:

Big fonts are a big turn off in my book. Whenever I land on a website with big fonts, I generally turn the page quickly. It generally makes me feel like I am reading a Sesame Street book.

To Much Going On:

Good content on a website is encouraged by many as well as the search engines. The problem with having too much content is when it is unorganized. A good way to solve this issue is by using drop down menus with multiple pages.

Creating quality web designs takes a lot of consideration. You must take into account what your targeted visitors may or may not like. In the end, the best designed websites are the ones that are moderate and incorporate everyone.

Making My High Heels More Comfortable

Fashions in high heels change fast and women want to wear the latest designs. High heels make women look taller, slimmer and more alluring. But the price a woman has to pay to wear high heels can be pretty high. It's not the cost of the high heels, but the damage they can do to the feet that needs to be avoided. When wearing high heels the pressure is on the toes and the balls of the feet. If pointed high heels are in fashion there is very little you can do to avoid getting a pair.

Well before you can make your high heels more comfortable, make sure you buy the right high heels. Be sensible when shopping for high heels. First, make sure to get your feet measured when you go to shop for high heels. This may sound dumb, but feet do grow larger with age and during pregnancy. Try and buy a pair that has round toes.

Avoid buying pointed toes high heels if you can. If you have feet that are wide then ask for a wider pair. Try on the high heels, walk around in them. If they are comfortable then buy them, else shop around. Don't buy high heels that have hard leather, try and get a pair with soft leather. Don't go for high heels that are too high. Don't wear high heels for an extended period of time. If you plan on wearing high heels daily then your feet are going to get ravaged. Even wearing high heels for a dance party can damage your feet.

You can make your high heels more comfortable by following a few tips. If you have got a pair with pointed toes then place some cotton in the toes of the high heels to protect your toes. Place arch supports in the high heels. If you feel that your feet are getting cramped from the sides place some cushioning on the sides. Now that you have your high heels ready now you have to prepare your feet also.

Remember extended wear of high heels can cause blisters, calluses and corns on your feet. You definitely don't want to be seen limping in your high heels.

So take some band aid or moleskin squares and put them on your feet. Cover them around your toes, the sides of your feet and most notably on your heels. It's the toes, the heels and the balls of the feet that get injured wearing high heels. So protecting these areas is going to keep your feet from getting damaged.

Also apply a cream or lotion on the feet to make them soft and supple. At times it even makes sense to rub some oil on the inner surface of the high heels to make the leather soft. But you only do this when you are not using the high heels. If you follow these simple tips then you can protect your feet from getting damaged by wearing high heels.

Hopefully by following this advice you will be able to wear high heels without ravaging your feet.

Whenever you post on a blog, choose a keyword that you want to get your blog post ranked. The title of the blog post should contain that keyword

Try to use that keyword in the first sentence within the first twenty five words, the closer to the start, the better. Use the keyword in the blog post a number of times but dont try to exceed more than 4% keyword density. Use of the keyword should be made in a natural manner.

Try to include three or four links in the post containing the keyword solely. Give emphasis by bolding the link. The URL of that post should also contain the keyword as an extension like http:// www.Yourdomain.com/keyword. Both wordpress and blogger allow you to do this.

In Blogger, you should know that once you have published the post, you cannot change the URL. Blogger chooses the first few sentences from the title to include in the URL. So you should publish the post with only the keyword in the title. Afterwards you can always change the title again if you want but it should still contain the keyword.

If you do all these things that dont take more than ten minutes of your time you are telling Google; hey, this is the keyword for this particular post. You can use these very simple tactics to get your blog posts top ranking for keywords having 100,000 to 1000,000 competing webpages.

Free Website Headers: How to Customize for Your Website

Being the owner of a new website, or an existing one needing a bit of work, there are always certain aspects to be considered. Perhaps you would like your viewers to see a very professional looking business page. Or maybe your site caters more to families leaving you wanting to have a family-friendly 'feel' to it when they find your page.

Long gone are the days when web or graphic design work meant hiring someone to do all of your website work for you. This undoubtedly meant spending money to get exactly what you wanted. But even then, there was no guarantee how that was going to turn out. With so many programs now, you can have full reign to completely redesign the website you already use, as well as creating that stunning first website. One of the easiest programs we have found to work with yet is Photoshop.

With Photoshop, you can easily find yourself with a finished product in the style you really want in no time. By doing the work by yourself from your own office, on your own computer you are already saving money and we haven't even started yet! By choosing to use this method of header creation, with the look and feel you want, you'll only have to add it to your site codes. But let's not get ahead of ourselves.

Your first step is to open your Photoshop software and create a new image. You can either set the size of your image by choosing the pixels at1025 x 150 (or the size you wish your website to be) or by using the image-size tools available to you so you can set the dimensions properly to fit the size you wish to work with.

Select the image outline or header, followed by selecting the tool resembling a rounded rectangle. Drag the pointer to the top left side corner of the image. Next left click to draw a rectangle which will cross from left to right of your image. This shows you the outline of your header section.

Continue now by selecting "Layer" from the navigation tool bar, found at the top of the window you are working in. Your next option to choose is the "Layer Style", followed by "Add Drop Shadow" from amongst the various options. You will now find a new pop-up window with the option "Drop Shadow, Inner Glow and Outer Glow." Check the box in front of this option.

Next, you want choose the "bevel" option. This will result in the rectangle having a professional style with depth, added by your chosen shadow. Clicking on the "Layer" icon will add a new layer to your header.

Now, open the text tool, while dragging it to the top left corner of the image. This is where you will type the name of your company or website. Take the time to play with different font types, sizes and colors to find the one that really "pops". On the top of the image, in the navigation bar you can find various other text option tools.

Now we are going to add a bit more style to your header. Start by selecting the rectangle tool, left-clicking in the top right-hand corner. By dragging the pointer along the top of the header, you will be creating a smaller navigation bar at the top of the image.

Now click the "Direct Selection" tool, selecting the rectangle by left-clicking on it. This will result in small squares appearing at each corner. Click the lower left corner of this shape, dragging it toward the right side and creating an angled edge for this navigation bar.

If you wish to add color or effects to this upper navigation bar, you would be choosing the "Fill" tool and making your choices from the options there. You can also crop and/or cut your image to any exact size you may need with the "Crop" tool.

Since you have put all this hard work and effort into this project, you don't want to lose it. Click "File" then "Save for Web and Devices" to save this image. You might want to consider creating a folder for all your business website information so you can keep everything together. Once you have saved this new header, you need to upload it to the "Images" file of your website codes.

In order to add this new header to your web pages, you need to use it as a background image. You will be placing it in the first row of your first table of the website, right under where you see the head tag.

When all is said and done, you will see just how easy it is to not only create your own website headers, but how to do it for free. Depending on the nature of your website, you may decide to change things up for each season. Or maybe create different headers for other pages of your website. Why not? Article marketing is still the most popular link building method used by serious online marketers. This method still works and it will always work as long as people are looking for quality information online on different subjects.

The only difficulty with article marketing is this that you need to write good articles for submission to different directories. You dont need one article but in fact hundreds of them. If you submit the same article to different directories, your articles will be treated as duplicate content.

Article Marketing is a successful link building strategy that can take a few months to start giving results. The problem is how you will write different article for each directory.

One way is to write three or four version of the same article, spin the articles into hundreds of unique versions and submit it to different directories.

There are many article submission services now available online. You can try anyone. You can also purchase article submission software. I can only recommend one that I use consistently for link building.

How to build your Cisco CCNP Lab

The Cisco CCNP lab is one of the most difficult labs to build because it touches on so many different pieces of equipment. When you are building your Cisco CCNA lab, it is pretty easy as three Cisco router and three Cisco switches will put you in a pretty good position at a pretty reasonable price. Definitely a lot less then the price of attending a Cisco CCNA training class and you get to keep the equipment to practice on for as long as you like. When building a Cisco CCIE lab, you concentrate on one particular discipline such as CCIE Security, Voice, Service Provider, Storage or Routing and Switching so you only have to purchase Cisco equipment for that area of expertise.

Now with building your Cisco CCNP lab, you have to cover four different modules which encompass many different networking technologies. The modules are BSCI(Building Scalable Cisco Internetworks) which is basically advanced routing concepts extending everything you learned in your Cisco CCNA training to the next level. So this module requires a plethora of Cisco routers to complete most of these CCNP labs. BCMSN(Building a Cisco Multilayer Switched Network) which also extends on what you learned in your CCNA training from a Cisco Switching perspective adding in new concepts such as Layer 3 switching and QoS to a greater degree. This module really gets into the nitty gritty of Cisco Switching and thus requires some of the higher end, more expensive switches that are capable of Layer 3 switching. Additionally in a perfect scenario, you will need multiple of these Cisco switches to complete your labs and really get the full experience of the topics. Next we have ISCW(Implementing Secure Converged Wide Area Networks) which covers how to expand your current enterprise network to remote sites and teleworkers with a focus on configuring VPN client access and securing the remote access methods. Many of these concepts can be accomplished on the Cisco routers you purchased for your BSCI module, but the possibility of adding in a VPN concentrator or PIX firewall is nice, but not an absolute requirement if you are on a tight budget. Finally the last CCNP module is ONT(Optimizing Converged Cisco Networks) which focuses on how to get the most out of your existing network by prioritizing your traffic utilizing QoS. Much of this is applied to voice packets which is time sensitive packets that require QoS attention. In this module you will also be reviewing basic wireless security setups. So much of the QoS items will be exercised on the Cisco routers you purchased for the BSCI track and the Cisco switches you already purchased for the BCMSN track. So now you see that to a large degree, you will be able to use the equipment in the first two modules to support the concepts in the last two modules. We try to strike a balance between the amount of equipment, price of the equipment and labs that can be performed as most people do not have the budget to go out and spend $30,000 to cover every single concept that is presented in the Cisco CCNP curriculum. So that is what makes it so difficult to build a Cisco CCNP lab at a reasonable price.

Common Cisco CCNP Lab Questions 12.4 IOS 12.4 IOS is a requirement for the routers. Says who? Why cant I use 12.3? Well, I guess you can, but when it states on the CCNP exam page that you should be using 12.4, I tend to listen to Cisco since it is their test and they get to modify it at their discretion! So what does that mean to you? 2500 routers and the normal 2600 routers cannot support 12.4. So if you have the budget, jump right to the 3640 or 2600XM series routers for your CCNP lab. They are the two most economical routers that will support 12.4. The 3640 is a modular router that comes with no built-in Ethernet or serial ports, but has 4 network module slots you can put various Ethernet, Serial and Voice cards into. The 2600XM series has one open network module slot and two WIC slots. The nice thing about the 2600XM series is that it has a built-in 100mb Ethernet port!

What Can I Do With My Old 2500 or non-XM 2600 routers? Even though Cisco states that the new CCNP exams are based on 12.4, that does not mean that you have to throw out all of your 2500 and/or non-XM 2600 routers and start from scratch. We can incorporate them into your new CCNP lab environment. However you must realize that you may not be able to see every feature work on each router since some of you routers may be running 12.3 and other 12.4. The old saying that you get what you pay for is applicable in this situation. The larger your budget is, the more features you will get. It is just like buying a car. The more money you have, the more bells and whistles you get.

Why Do Your Kits Mostly Have 3640s and 2600XM Routers? We have included the 3640 routers are they are the most economical way to build out your 12.4 lab supporting IPv6 and SDM. To support IPv6 and SDM you must have 128/32 on each of these routers. Since these are the two waves of the future and they are on the tests, you should be able to perform labs incorporating each.

How Many Routers Do I Need? Another great question! The more the better! Actually, we need to make it complex enough that we can see routes propagate, DHCP relay agents working, load balancing, route summarization, different OSPF stub types, Frame-Relay, IS-IS Intra-Area vs Inter-Area addressing, multi-casting, BGP groups and IPv6 on a dual-stack router. Wow, that was a mouthful! So more than two or three routers is a safe assumption to build your CCNP lab. We like to see about 8 routers in your lab. You can see the available CCNP labs we offer to review the specific Cisco models. Our Premium kit will match our lab courseware very well. The Standard and Economy kits will match closely and you will be able to comprehend most of the concepts by running the commands on the equipment you have even though it may not exactly match up to the labs you will be performing. So if you can only afford one of those kits, dont worry, you will still get tons of great experience from those kits! *Note, some people ask to be able to perform every concept that is covered in the book. That is not realistic for most customers who are self studying as this will cost well in excess of $20,000 per person.

How Many Switches Do I Need? We think four switches is a pretty good number for your CCNP lab. That gives you the ability to configure various scenarios which require multiple switches such as trunking in multilayer switched networks, multi-casting, QoS, VTP concepts such as pruning, creating loops and suppressing them with STP, controlling root bridge elections, multiple spanning tree environments, UplinkFast and BackboneFast, EtherChannel and Layer 3 through 7 switching. Two Layer 3 switches plus 2950 switches seem to work pretty well which being cost conscientious.

What Is A Layer 3 Switch? Wait until you get to BCMSN exam as this is a cool concept. This is a switch that can also do routing! So no need to bounce the traffic out of the switch, to a router only to have it sent right back to the same switch because the destination is on a different subnet. These switches will route that traffic within the switch and save precious bandwidth and time! We find that in a perfect world, you will have two of these switches, but you can get by with one. This way you can see how they communicate, trunk together and such.

Can You Give Me A General Idea Of The Lab Environment? That will slightly change as per the kit you purchase. However in following the labs you will for the most part have a frame relay switch interconnecting four different areas in which summarizations can happen.

If you already have your Cisco CCNA certification, the above should have made a lot of sense to you. Also congratulations on your CCNA! You should have a very good grasp on the different features of the various Cisco routers and Cisco switches. Now you will just need to know what Cisco routers and Cisco switches you need to purchase to build your Cisco CCNP lab.

CCNP Lab Kit Options Well, we have four main Cisco CCNP labs available for you all at different price points. As mentioned before, the more you spend, the more bells and whistles you will be able to experience in your Cisco CCNP lab studies. We tend to prefer the Cisco Press books to accompany our Cisco CCNP labs. Who better to get this information from than straight from Cisco? The Cisco Press books come with full blown labs for the BSCI and BCMSN modules. We follow pretty closely the lab topologies presented in the BSCI and BCMSN books. This is because you will then be able to follow the accompanying labs. Now you must understand that to follow their labs exactly, you would have to spend easily twice as much as we are charging for any of these kits. So from our experience we have modified the kits with some less expensive Cisco routers and Cisco switches that will cover a majority of the concepts in the labs. Again, the more you pay for the kit, you will be able to experience more of the concepts. Also from our experience we determined a way to reduce the price of the kit was to remove some routers that were there primarily just to make the lab environment more complex by adding extra routers which thus introduced additional routes. Well when we are trying to keep things on a tight budget, we dont see the need to have three extra routers, all the Cisco modules and cables just so we can see a few extra routes in our tables. It would be one thing if these routers were $50 each, but when you take into consideration the router, the module, the cables and such you can easily be adding $1,000 or more to the price of your kit. When in essence much of that information is going to wind up in a route summarization anyway! So again, we have to look for the most bang for the buck in building these kits. As mentioned before, the Cisco CCNP lab is probably the most difficult to build because of all the different technologies it touches.

But there is a light at the end of the tunnel! You will be able to use all these pieces of equipment in your Cisco CCIE lab so they will not go to waste! But since you have most of the CCIE equipment already, you are well on your way to acing your Cisco CCNP exam and then conquering your Cisco CCIE certification.

Linksys/D-Link Routers and your Cisco Lab

We get many CCNA students who ask us how to incorporate their Linksys/D-Link or similar Cable/DSL wireless router into their newly purchased Cisco CCNA lab. Although this can be done, it is not something we suggest.

I will touch on a few reasons we dont really recommend this setup, but I am sure if we really sat down and thought about it we could come up with more.

1)Depending on the model of the home Linksys/D-Link Cable/DSL router that you are talking about, many of them dont support the protocols you will be setting up in your Cisco CCNA home lab. Some of the newer ones will support RIP. But rarely will you see any of these home type routers support any of the advanced protocols such as OSPF, EIGRP and such. A few of them are now also supporting the ability to enter static routes, which is niceand they are improving with each generation but they still are not what you want to base your Cisco CCNA studies on.

2)Most of them come out of the box setup as DHCP servers. Unless you start playing around with those settings, this will conflict with some of the DHCP and other labs you should be doing in your CCNA lab. This generally leads to breaking your home network and then you have your spouse, parents, kits, etc complaining because you took down their Internet connection. The more they complain, the more you stress out and keep figure out the solution as everyone is yelling at you. Just dont do it!

3)Besides the ability to not support all the protocols a real Cisco router willthe Linksys/D-Link Cable/DSL routers will not be able to work seamlessly with many of the advanced security features you will find in a Cisco Router during your CCNA lab studies.

So what we suggest for the new Cisco CCNA student is to keep their home Linksys/D-Link Cable/DSL network separate from their Cisco CCNA lab network. Why besides the items listed above? Well another thing we tend to find is you are learning in the new CCNA lab network. You are going to break things and spend countless hours trying to figure out what you did wrong, how to fix it and what you broke. Many times you will never figure it out and just start over from scratch. Also one thing you will discover with Cisco routing is an issue with one Cisco router will propagate to other routers. For example, when an interface goes down on a router, the route is removed systematically from the route tables of all the routers. Thus routes are recalculated and you will be sent a different way to get to the destination. So long story short, we suggest in the beginning learning stages, keep your home network and CCNA lab network completely separate.

Integrating your home and CCNA networks sounds like a great idea until you totally mess it up, have no idea what you are doing or how to fix it while your spouse, kids, parents, whomever are yelling at you because they cant get to their myspace account.or worse yet, now you cant get your home network back working to the point where you can get to some of your favorite websites or email accounts. So just be patient and progress at a slow steady pace with your CCNA studies. Before you know it you will actually understand how to integrate the two networks from knowledge you gained through your studies and not because someone gave you an example to type in and follow. You will actually be able to sit down and figure it our for yourself. This is a true measure of your comprehension of the Cisco CCNA exam concepts and will provide you with a real life situation where you can test your Cisco CCNA expertise!
