6 Ideas for Viral Marketing

By Bob Tesson

Allow me to share with your 6 tactics that will help you launch your viral marketing campaign:

1. Purchase an e-book that has branding rights. Give this to your affiliates, and allow them to forward it to their visitors. This would then continue to be passed along, until your ad gets to spread over the Internet.

2. Create a message board or forum if you know how. If not, you may ask an expert to make one for you. Tell people that they can make use of your board or forum, as an add-on on their website. To create traffic, simply post a banner ad on top.

3. Make use of your knowledge in web design and create a template. Make an attractive template that would draw people to use it on their site. Make this a freebie, along with some graphic, fonts, or images. To build a traffic to your site, indicate a link that would redirect their visitors. Establish a copyright notice that will require people who have downloaded your template, to include a back link to your web page.

4. Write an E-book. Allow people to place an advertisement in your free E-book if, in exchange, they give away the E-book to their web visitors or E-zine subscribers.

5. Write articles that pertain to your product or service. Allow people to reprint your articles on their website, in their E-zine, newsletter, magazine or E-books. Include your resource box and the option for article reprints at the bottom of each article.

6. Find products that that would give you license to re-brand. Then, you can easily distribute these to your affiliates and visitors for free. To re-direct traffic to your site, put your own name, website, and contact information.
