Texas Web Designers appeal to Corporate America

By Jordan FeRoss

With more than 150 Texas Web Design companies vying for your business, how do you decide which Texas Web Designer to choose? There are a number of issues to consider. Obviously, the issue most are concerned with is cost. Let's face it, we live uncertain times and with rising cost of gas leaving most of us penniless at the end of the week, many of us have had to cut back on certain luxuries. Well the same is true for many businesses in Texas. Many businesses have been forced to cut back on their advertising and marketing budgets to simply make ends meet.

Corporate America has to learn how to properly outsource web design if it is ever going to get through this recession. Throwing millions of dollars at large firms might look impressive to C-Level Execs, but in the end, it's the shareholders who are left wondering, "What did that really get us"? Texas Web Designers are masters of marketing on a shoestring budget.

Companies must really do some hard analysis to determine if it's really worth it to do these things in-house. More often than not, it isn't. Employing a full-time staff for one website simply isn't cost-effective. As an alternative, these companies should consider outsourcing their work to experienced web design firms who do this day in and day out. Texas Web Designers are experts at designing sites on a shoestring budget.

When Corporate America is seeking professional assistance, it usually looks to itself for the answer. A Halliburton will typically look to a large National Advertising and PR firm for its web development. Even though there are a large number of Texas-based National Advertising and PR firms, there are only a handful of really great Texas Web Designers who understand Texans, and the way we do business. And they're not always BIG corporate firms. In fact, some of the best web designers out there are small to medium-sized businesses that have been doing impressive work since the Internet's inception. Maybe it's true what they say, "Good things do come in small packages."

Another mistake is to outsource these sorts of projects overseas. With the expansion of far east economies, it is becoming increasingly popular to employ Indians, Chinese and Midde-Easterners. This has led to devastating results for some businesses. If your design firm is not subject to the same laws as you, they can basically do whatever they want without repercussion. Texas Web Designers know and follow the laws.

Texas Web Designers are lean. You won't find a lot of 1,000+ employee Web Design firms in Texas. Some of the best firms are privately owned, 50-100 employees, and they turn out websites like automated assembly lines. You'll even find some very good one to two man operations who have worked for some of the most prestigious companies in the industry.
