Are videos and pictures of my Colorado whitewater rafting adventure available?
Photographers will take your picture while you are on the river going through specific rapids. When you return to the AVA office, you will look at your digital pictures on TV and computer screens. You can decide if you would like to purchase printed pictures. You can also purchase your pictures on disc. There is no cost for your picture to be taken. There may also be an option to have your trip recorded by one of our talented vigeographers.Yes, on the Zambezi River in Zimbabwe and Zambia. This experience is available while you are at Victoria Falls. It's a wonderful experience, but you need to be fit.The rivers and rapids have been classified to help you gauge their difficulty on a scale of I to VI; Class I means the easiest flat water and Class VI means unrunnable.

What are the toilet facilities on the river trip?
Portable toilets are available at Peach Springs airport, the boat launching area and at Grand Canyon West.Bungee jumping and white water rafting (grades 4 and less) are normally covered by Good 2 Go! polices, providing these activities are conducted by a genuine licensed commercial operator. Black water and grade 5/6 rafting are considered extreme risk activities and as such would not be covered by Good 2 Go!.

How do I judge the difficulty of a river?
The rivers and rapids have been classified to help you gauge their difficulty on a scale of I to VI; Class I means the easiest flat water and Class VI means unrunnable. This is an objective scale, but the ratings of a river can change depending on water levels and conditions. We also have a simple guide for the sections we run: Beginner and Intermediate sections are appropriate for all ages & abilities. Advanced and Advanced+ sections are appropriate for active and aggressive lifestyles.Just about anyone of reasonable health and fitness can go rafting. Children must be least eight years old and weigh at least 55 pounds in order to ride Class 3 rapids. Young people must be at least 14 years old to ride Class 4 rapids. We do not suggest taking a rafting trip if you are pregnant, extremely overweight, or have back or heart problems. Since you will be wearing a safety jacket, being able to swim is not a requirement for taking a White Water Rafting Trip.

Who will be our guide?
Our guides are qualified with hundreds of miles of river experience. Each guide is a accomplished outdoors person with a background in natural history and the ability to make every river trip a special and memorable experience.A river's difficulty classification lies on a scale from 1 to 6 with 1 being very easy and 6 being unnavigable.

Where and when will I get my river equipment?
Due to limited number of seats, an $85.00 per person cancellation fee will be charged for any cancellation prior to 30 days of the tour date. There will be no refund for cancellations within 30 days of the tour date.We never know for sure when it will rain. So, even if you are taking a summer trip, you should bring a rain suit as outlined on the packing list. Many people wear them while running the rapids.We run Colorado whitewater rafting trips rain or shine. Our simple philosophy is you're going to get wet regardless of the weather. We have gear available if Mother Nature is enhancing our day. Wetsuits and splash jackets are included free of charge on all of our rafting trips.
