How To Pen The Perfect Post

By Don Bethune

A problem that plagues many bloggers who want to attract visitors to their web site is how to write the perfect blog post. Itas not hard to get lost in a jumble of words when you start blogging, especially if your thoughts are typically scattered in your every day life.

The main thing is to keep everything organized and clear. Know what you want to articulate and piece the puzzle of your thoughts together. Consistent and amusing sentences should form from your own personal writing style. Writing what comes naturally will help to keep your blog post sounding like you and not forced.

Before you start writing, THINK! Take them fingers off the keys and do not just start typing. Whatever comes to mind is a jumble mess of thoughts that only you can understand. You need to have a message and a way to convey it. When it comes to a log of your day, please start at the beginning. Whenever discussing something that could be thought of as controversial remember that the whole world isnat going to agree with you. Try writing with the goal of convincing the reader.

Use more than just plain text to get your point across. You can emphasize your point with bold lettering, underline whatas important to you, and use bullets to organize multiple ideas. Styling your blog post can make a big difference in how well it is received.

Add in some imagery, by using photographs youave taken yourself or that youave found on the internet to illustrate your post. Try videotaping yourself and using it in your blog post to give your readers a feeling of intimacy, like theyare sitting in the same room as you, looking at you face-to-face as you speak.

Getting your readers involved in the conversation you are starting is key, and rather its more important than a perfect blog post. Think about using a website traffic generator to get more hits, if your blog isnat quite popular yet. Finding free website traffic is possible online.

Continue to engage the readers who are responding to your posts. Commenting back, and continuing discussion makes them feel like they are being heard. These are the people who will keep your blog active when youave not available to add to it. They are your repeat customer.

Even though there isnat an exact science to perfect blogging, if you follow these guidelines youall have much better posts. Not to mention, better luck with the internet traffic. Avoid the jumbled messes, keep your readers engaged, look for new readers and enjoy yourself.
